Moon Affect the Psychology of Your Children?

In Shakespeare’s “Othello,” the maid Emilia tells Othello that the moon has drawn too close to the Earth — and driven men insane.

Have you ever thought why some days we feel low or sometimes very happy even if we don’t have a particular reason for it? Sometimes we even feel our life is complete or even we can think life is worthless. Have you ever thought when universal energy affects all the celestial bodies, it must be affecting the human mind and psychology also? Think why on a full moon day the oceans have very high tides.

Human have 70% of water in their body so similarly we are also getting affected by the energy pull of the moon. Moon is the Karak of emotions in astrology, also mind and psychology, therefore it is also affecting us.

When it comes to young children they also have the same problem but they sometimes can’t express these variations. They don’t even know what is happening with them.

Moon – Mind, Emotions and Psychology of Young Children

Well if my opinion is concerned we can relate it to the Moon in Astrology which represents our mind, psychology and emotions. How the Moon is placed in our natal birth chart can decide our mental structures. If the moon has enough positive energy and is well placed in the chart then the native will feel happy and contentment and when the moon is afflicted in our birth chart then we can feel sad and always feel dissatisfied with life.

Young children especially those aged 4 to 8 years have more impact on moon energy if they have some psychological issues like autism, ADHD, or behavioural problems. When they are emotionally disturbed they can not concentrate on their studies and try to grab the attention by teasing others.

Actually, they want to express their emotions in the form of anxiety, restlessness, hyperactivity etc. And instead of understanding their actual problems we elders just try to shout at them and try to suppress their emotions by shouting at them or just scolding them. Later these emotions cause them to develop more complications in their later life.

How does the Planet Moon affect Child Psychology?

I have observed that when there is a full moon the person who is suffering from any psychological issues, their behavior is different from other days. They behave either very destructively or very emotionally that day. The same happens with Amavasya Day.

Observation -1. One child of 5 years is suffering from ADHD. He sometimes behaves differently than the other days. I used to make his Anecdotal record and mentioned these events in his record. It was repetitive on particular days. When I calculated the Tithis on which his behaviour was different from other days, the Tithis were either falling on Mondays, Full Moon or no Moon day.

Observation -2 One child of age 5 always wanted to be isolated and used to sit quietly doing nothing but when after talking to his parents I came to know that he has autism spectrum disorder and ADHD both. I started maintaining the anecdotal record and observed that on the moon effect ( full Moon, no Moon ) the child was restless, showing maximum anxiety and teasing other children too.

Observation -3. A lady was suffering from Schizophrenia. She was extremely moody, but when observed she was behaving weirdly on the days of full Moon or no Moon days.

Scientific Studies on the Effects of the Planet Moon on Human Psychology

Some other studies have found a potential link between the Full Moon, health, and behaviour.

For example, a study from 2018 found an increase in traffic accident-related emergency transports during the full Moon. The large study included 1,764 control nights, 62 full moon nights, and 842,554 emergency transports.

During the 1970s, psychiatrist Arnold Lieber theorized that the moon influenced the body’s “biological tides” and altered human behaviour, leading to increased rates of violence and homicide.

Conclusion of Moon Effects in Astrology and Psychology

The planet Moon has a great impact on human behaviour and psychology especially in young children as it is the karak for mind in Vedic astrology. If we synchronize ourselves with the nature. Like sleep patterns according to Sun rise and Sun set. Meditation every day for our emotional control, then our mental, psychological and physical health would be better. When it comes to young minds we as an elder must give them the opportunities to express themselves in the form of linguistic form, art form or any other what they like. And also give them some hands-on activities so that they can develop a sense of managing their emotions. We can also suggest they be hydrated throughout the day as when there is enough water in their body then the Moon will play a positive role to make them happy children.

Great article as usual sir.But I feel moon is affiliated means parents might not have guru balam. What if parents are in imbalanced state. For good children it is affecting badly.

One of my observation is my son has second lord moon in 6th house. While I conceived From the day of confirmation to the day before delivery I was vomiting. He doesn’t eat food properly even at the age of 17 now. I tried many ways to change his food habits but I couldn’t succeed. He doesn’t even drink sufficient water.

The word he always says is food is something he doesn’t like and he cannot eat even if he is hungry . He survived by drinking milk and only tomato dal. Ofcourse now a days outside junk like biryani and fried rice .
