Sudden Gain Of Job

We read a lot about sudden loss of job, layoffs, etc very often and this is a very common story. Hence I thought of writing an article about a sudden gain of job.

This is the case of a client who was quite well qualified and performing well in the previous job. However, she was going through some challenging situations in life and to make things worse, did not have a job, and wasn’t able to get a job from more than a year!

The chart is as follows:

Although nakshatras, D9, and some other elements were used in the consultation, the D1 and D10 here is sufficient for the purpose of this discussion.

The case is fairly straightforward – 10L being retrograde in the 8^th house in D1 indicated some instability in jobs or breaks in the career. Other combinations are again being formed in the D10 which confirm the same, and the native was experiencing this in her life.

However see the 10L of D10 chart getting exalted in the lagna. This means that the native will be able to overcome the challenges and despite some breaks or uncertainties, she will be able to build a successful career for herself.

But our concern was more immediate in nature and the satisfaction that the career will be good over a long term was not sufficient.
There was no job from more than a year and this was a matter of grave concern for the native as she had already visited many astrologers in this period and done many remedies.

At the pratyantar level, the native was about to receive some help. Hence this was used as a good opportunity. This consultation was in March. Some remedies were suggested to the native and it was told that she will have a job between the end of May and end of June. One of the simplest remedies was the lighting of a camphor oil diya every evening. This activated the Venus-Saturn-Sun circuit of the dashansh and helped the native.

By the blessings of god it so happened that the client got a job towards the end of May!
Now why the sudden part – retrograde Venus in the 10^th house of D10. Pratyantar of Venus was what helped the native get the job. It was unexpected and came after a very long period of trying for jobs, but the retrograde planet being itself delivered the result in its own way.
