Ketu rules the Natural 8th of the Chart but mostly people view this house as negative , and a lot of people get afraid of this house and start going to astrologers before the Dasha comes.
Among classics it is said that Dasha of Ketu will give isolation, breaks and transformations but Maharishi’s have written everything in such a coded language that you have to think very deeply in order to even understand 1% of the real meaning. The 8th house is the House of Death and this is where the life cycle ends and we change Bodies – hence whatever Karam we are doing gets stored in the 8th house and with Ketu – be it Good or Bad – hence a lot of times you will observe Ketu giving Marriage’s , Opportunities , as well as making a Person rise above everyone else and setting new standards eventually – the only reason for this being one’s own past life Karma.
In order to leave something you have to experience it first – then only your desires will be diminished and you will be able to leave it. Imaging you are having a desire to get into a Very high position in life and no matter what you are not able to do it – in such a senario you will not be able to let it go as in the back of your mind you will always be stressed due to this reason and have to take rebirth for the same. Depending on your Karam you will get the necessary combinations in the next life for the fulfillment of that desire, be it being smoothly or through a lot of troubles and only after that you will be able to quench your thirst.
You are doing the Karam where Rahu is placed and that is your Focus – whereas Ketu is the Karam which you have already done. However there are exceptions – such as If Ketu is in Taurus and dispositor is exalted – one will get immense wealth in the Dasha of Ketu but the same dispositor being Debilated will give issues from family members of health as well as money struggles in that dasha. Similarly you can use the same for Rahu.
Check in the Dasha of Ketu , if you have gotten money – the dispositor will be linked with 11th house , if you met someone there will be connection with Venus or 7th house, if you have been sick or cured sickness there would be connection with the 6th house , if you have reached new position , then connection would be with 5th house or 10th house and so on. A lot of times Ketu also help setting new standards for oneself as well as for the society which effects a lot of people such as if Ketu is with Saturn and well placed – the Professional Stanards and the position of the native will be very high and different than the society due to which it will effect the masses or the concerned people in that industry – Similarly if its Venus Ketu , the same will apply for family , marriage, clothing, money , etc.
Ketu will give you its significations depending on the conjunction and dispositor , so that once you have experienced it, then you will be able to leave it and move forward to something else. The same can be used for Jaimini Sutram as well in order to see past life Karam such as if Ketu becomes the Gnatikaraka then there would be chronic illnesses for the native in its Dasha.

Sir , happy Ganesh chaturthi, I am gemini lagna,my ketu is with sun Venus and mercury in 10 th house ,in lagna Jupiter and moon ,so my ketu dasha will favorable as it’s depositor Jupiter is in lagna.

In my ketu dasha i have left my job and have been unemployed for 2 years, I got a dog as a pet which I adored and loved but during those 2 years I was under huge emotional and mental turmoil from my family friends and close ones before this experience I was very emotional person but after this turmoil I got detached from everything due to which I got clarity of what I want other than to become others doormat and people pleaser and set boundaries for everyone. I got a job after this during my 2nd year of my ketu MD and my family sold my dog which broke me more as I was attached to him, I also saw many deaths during this time period my grandparents, uncles. I got feeling of detachment in this dasha till this time and in my profession I saw growth. My work field is such that I can’t explain it to my family as my ketu is in 8th (Pisces), Jupiter in Sagittarius 5th, with Saturn, Moon & venus, It has affected my emotions, career, mindset, and choices which were very stressful for me earlier. The only area which I am still unclear about is it’s close conjunction with venus that it has detached me from marriage to such extent that I am not interested in talking about it as whenever my family talks about it I don’t find it meaningful. Sir can you please help me understand my state of mind that why am I not interested in marriage

I am MBBS doctor and I am Pisces ascendant. Jupiter+ketu+moon conjunction in present in 5th house. Saturn(R) in 10th house.

My Ketu dasa started from 14th August to 14th August 2022..
Never in my dream I thought, I will undergo such a pain and take Voluntary exit from my Central Government Serviceat 52 years, leaving behind 10 years of my service.
My Name is Srikanth, born at Mysore , 20-4-1972 at mid night 12.28 (0.28).
I have my MS from BITS PILANI, and joined service GOI, Ministry of Education on 2-12-1999.
My trouble started from Finace Blockages and family taking care. I would like to summarise in brief events about the Ketu dasa periods.
2015 – 2017 : Taking loan from wrong person (still 2024, not yet eared)
2018- My car was sold, with great pain I purchased my car.
2019- Lot of politics at office, and targeted me and went through isolation and self respect damage.
2020-2021:
A)even though, my higher officer was there, deliberately, they asked him to take leave and handed over all Covid work to me, where I hardly slept 5 hours a day. Only durga saptahashi, sidda kunjika sotra chanting saved me and family.
B) 2 of my collegues lost there life…
C)I could not tolerate more and decided to the take VRS from service at 51 years, by foregoing my 10+years.
D) My mother inlaw fell sick, and suffered for 6 months and expired in 2022 December.
E) I put my VRS papers in July 2022 and got released from Government job in 14th Oct 22. ( ketu dasa ended in 14 aug, 2022). With pension of 38k.
F) My father inlaw sufferers for 8 months and expires in 2023 december.(my wife is also u Der going ketu dasa)
G) I went through great financial problem and still not yet cleared, and mental agony after losing elders.
F)my father at the age of 84 , left me and staying with my sister.
H)2023- 2024: Started my Educational Quality consultancy business, now slowly it is picking up.
I) I sold my Mysore house, with underrate, due to need of money, but still not fully settled, even after 1.5 years of sale…I need to get 18lakhs….
J) slowly stabilizing, with new business clients……
K) The person who was not having a shoes, when he meet me, I trained, mentored and helped him from. 2015, but after learning all skills, he left me and backstabber me in 2022 and cheated me.
L) Every colleagues , cousines, friends who had taken help left me.
M) But now being alone made me so strong Mentally, and learned the great lesson.
Ketu dasa has transformed me 360 degrees… now I am alone traveler in life journey, I fell solitude and peace with me….
My story is a lesson to many people, who are undergoing ketu dasa, Even u will Come out of Central Government job….only it is Leela.

I have Ketu in 5th house with 10th lord with Venus in the 12th house.So there is prblm arise in my relationship at that time I only want job anyhow , one day suddenly my juniors came to me and take my document and I got selected as an ABPM even I don’t want to join but somehow I join it as being the topper student I’m not willing to do this job because Sun is my Atmakarka in 10th house with 3rd lord then before joining I got chicken pox after recovery I join face humiliation where I’m completely alone there and senior buttering me and one day I help one of my senior at the end he is the one who responsible for my resign, because I write application and no one accepted it they want his death certificate but I’m not ready to give it because and one day when this my senior torchure reach at peak and suddenly I start crying my mother to resign from it. During that time my interest towards astrology started but I don’t know why these things happened and even in those days the person whom I’m waiting for last 3 years to say Yes or No for marriage and we had fight don’t even contacted me when I informed him that My Nana ji died then I waited for him 13 days and every single days make me feel like ki Agr main mere Nana ji k itne close this unka jana jhel skti hu then there is nothing left. And from that day I promise myself start doing Bholenath Pooja and never look back again…..So this Dasha completely change Everything Sir. Even I can connect every single dots right now….. Several degrees currently midway in Ketu MD…So far so good….Mars in 11th has not exactly given ‘band baaja’….Ketu there has resulted in break in long association, knee problems, opportunity to learn(follow my interests) and some kind of isolation to do so
My ketu is in 11 th house of Virgo ascendant.Currently Ketu MD is going on.So far good by the blessing of lord Ganpati Ji.Ketu aspect by Jupiter from 3rd house and Saturn from 9 th house.Feeling myself workaholic since 1 st may 2024.Enjoying extra work load in office.Even at home looking for more work like Jhadu-pocha 😄, dusting etc. In the beginning of ketu MD Feb 2023,I shifted to my own house and increased in my income.

My ketu Mahadasha starts from 2022. My ketu is sits in libra in 8 house. But i started feelings of detachment in early 2020 and 2021. At that time i didn’t notice which dasha is going to come in my upcoming years but i think at that time there was ketu transit on my natal Moon that’s why I feel detached from every thing and every one. From 2023 I had developed autoimmune disease and some nerve damage issue in the brain due to severe stress and depression from past many years. Now I have to take ai many medicine to overcome my disease. I just hope that someday I will get cure completely. In this process I lost any wish to pursue my passion to do some thing meaningful in my life. At this level I have no desire to do anything specific in my life. I have lost all desire.. Don’t know when will i get all my desire to do something big in life.
