Rahu, a planet of shrewdness in the house of intelligence can give extreme levels of sharpness but as per classic texts Rahu in Fifth is to be known as Pitra dosha as fifth in kalpurush kundli is house of Sun – Surya is our lineage, it represents our grandfather – If Rahu is not active and not strongly placed in the fifth house native will either lose grandfather right after birth or grandfather will not be there in the family. Rahu has his head only and this house is a house of intelligence and learning if it is strongly placed native can have extreme level of intelligence, can be expert in technology and has brilliant ideas. The more rahu is comfortable in 5th House the better it will perform. As per Brighu Samhita, the natural karka of the fifth house is Mercury and Jupiter. Mercury is learning and Jupiter is knowledge.
