Pitru Upay in Pitra paksha Tak

Each lunar day (tithi) in Pitra Paksha is specially dedicated for offering tarpaṇa and shradha to ancestors who departed on that particular tithi. In cases where the exact death tithi is not known, the rituals are performed on Amavasya, which is observed as Sarva Pitru Amavasya for the satisfaction of all ancestors. Among the tithis, Chaturdashi holds special significance, as it is reserved for those who died unnaturally, such as through accidents, weapons, water, or fire.

Pitru Doṣa in astrology is often indicated when the Sun is afflicted by Rahu, Ketu, or Saturn, when the 9th house lord is weak or afflicted, when the Moon is joined with Rahu causing Grahan Doṣa, or when the 5th house suffers affliction showing ancestral curses. The key houses linked with ancestors include the 9th and 12th houses (Pitru sthana, signifying father and ancestral blessings), the 5th house (past life merits and children), the 8th house (death, rebirth, and pitru karma), and the 1st and 2nd houses (family lineage and continuity). If these houses are afflicted by Rahu, Ketu, Saturn, or even the Sun, then performing Pitra Paksha rituals becomes highly essential for pacifying karmic debts and seeking ancestral blessings.

In this birth you can get the relaxation in all domains of life if we only serve the pitra during these days ,but for that we have to leave the tamas and opt sattva in our and its till the end of Dussehra.
Although 15 days are  for pitra to make them please help them by tarpan and daan. Which doesn’t makes that you have to give big things it can be ANN daan or anything like shram daan also. You can also chant “ॐ पितृभ्यः स्वधा नमः”

The soul reaches the eternal worlds of the ancestors through the Sun. Hence, ancestors are pleased when the Sun is worshipped.

The debt of ancestors seen through Rahu and Ketu gives afflictions, but through Śraddha and Tarpana, the Pitru-doṣa is pacified.

Rahu and Ketu signify unsatisfied desires of ancestors. Affliction to 5th/9th/8th house by them clearly indicates Pitru Doṣa.

Those who perform Shradha with faith on Amavasya satisfy all the groups of ancestors without doubt.

The eternal Pitṛas always reside in Magha Nakshatra; therefore, offering tarpaṇa during Magha is especially auspicious.

In Mula Nakshatra remembrance of Pitṛs and karmic duties arises; hence shradha performed here especially pleases the ancestors.

Magha Nakshatra is the chief Pitru Nakshatra, as the Pitṛs themselves are said to reside there, making it most powerful for tarpaṇa and Shraddha. Mula Nakshatra connects with the roots of karma and Pitru debts, and performing ancestral prayers here helps release karmic burdens. BharanīiNakshatra, ruled by Yama, the god of death, signifies the path to Pitṛ-loka, so rituals with sesame water and prayers to Yama are considered highly auspicious. Shravaṇa Nakshatra is linked to listening and ancestral wisdom, making it suitable for śraddha with Vedic recitations. Kṛttika Nakshatra, ruled by Agni, represents the fire that carries offerings to ancestors, hence homam and pindadana with fire oblations are ideal. Ardra Nakshatra, ruled by Rudra, connects to the passage of souls, where Rudra japa and abhiṣeka with water offerings are recommended. Finally, shatabhiṣa Nakshatra, ruled by Varuṇa, signifies healing of karmic afflictions and Pitru Doṣa, making it effective for tarpaṇa with water and remedies for ancestral curses. There are 6 kinds of tarpan

1) Devtarpan

2) Rishitarpan

3) Divyamanavtarpan

4) Divyapitratarpan

5) Yamtarpan

6) Manushyapitratarpan
