One of the rarest floral occurrences in ecology which holds utmost importance in the ritualistic and ethnomedicinal pursuit – The plant of Sweth Ark Ganapati also known as Safed Madar / White Milkweed.
In the description of Ganesh Puran – The root of Sweth Ark takes the shape of Ganesh ji after 21 years of plantation and the root is carefully carved out during a specific Muhurat on either Guru Pushya Yog or Ravi Pushya Yog for making an idol for worship.
Among the varieties of Ark which includes the red and blue coloured, the white ark is the most special flora due to its uncommon presence in the ecology.
The combination for the plant is Saturn Ketu due to its poisonous constituents – As the roots of Ketu is in the natural 10th house and the plant belongs to the Nakshatra of Shravan.
Ark’s enzymatic properties helps in curing the chronic issues / diseases occurring from the 8th house – To counter snake bite, used in Alkaline Thread to heal and treat Piles and Fistula, in antimicrobial activities, healing of wounds, chronic skin issues etc; And in some regions it is also used as an agent in cheese making.
Its roots, leaves, flowers, all have their own significance in treating the diseases in Ayurveda.
As the work of Saturn Ketu is to constantly break and reform things for the highest order of Karma but during this process, the native goes through extreme emotional and physical discomfort and when the native is not able to handle this energy with sheer will it can cause self-destruction.
The remedial measures include, offering the flowers of Ark to Bhagwan Shiv and Ganesh ji to calm the storm caused by the 8th house.
Making a mala of 11 Ark leaves along with flowers can be offered to Shani Maharaj on saturday to pacify the skin diseases, offered for 48 saturdays.
The root of the Ark can be offered to Ganesh ji on Wednesday for issues related to education.
The Saturn Ketu is the meditative state – meaning where one gets deeply immersed into their karma leading to Tapas and daily rituals offered to Sweth Ark Ganapati will bring in the abundance.

Yes it’s true.at my dadi home when we remove white aark roots naturally we get ganpati shape.it is still at home.

I am so grateful to Lunar astro. It feels like my soul belongs here. I have moon in Shravan nakshatra. Few years ago, a stranger (who is a good friend of me now) told me to start worshiping Ganesh ji. I felt like a calling to find sweth ark plant root. I found it and made ganesha out of it. I am worshiping him for years now. He is like my family. 😇
To this time, I wasn’t aware that its Saturn Ketu combination. But something inside me felt that all this was going happening due to ketu transiting my natal Saturn.

Do these lines also hold true for Saturn place in Ashwini Nakshatra along with Sharavana as the rising nakshatra?

Some people and Vastu expert says its good if you plant outside of door of house from where enter in house… Some says in your home another say It is not good to seed it in home or garden.
And what about those who already have this energy of saturn-ketu conjunction in their charts… Will it be good for them to plant it in home, cuz will it not be happen that it will increase the energy of chart dualfold. Around them .
