Moon, Nakshatras and Navarasas of Life

Moon, Nakshatras and Navarasas of Life

As we know there are 9 planets in astrology (Navgrahas) – each one of them assigned in the celestial cabinet as divine intelligence governing various aspects of our life but there are three important anchors through which our life’s ship is governed – Sun (Atman), Moon (Manas) and Ascendant (Destiny). This trio forms our identity but whatever we feel or experiences we get through in our life, the quality of our thoughts, emotions, our emotional core is driven by Moon.

If we see from astronomical lenses, the Moon is the natural satellite of earth – it orbits around earth’s gravitational force, and it takes energy or light from the Sun. Its impact on human life is evident from many sources be it astronomical or astrological, here the purpose is to bring attention to Navarasas (9 Emotions) of our life or nine states of our emotional graph. Which basically are experienced through our Mann – Moon. Placement of Moon in the chart decides what is going to be your emotional approach towards life – what kind of thought process one has and where we revolve around in life as Moon revolves around Earth.

Our life mainly revolves around 9 emotions – Navrasas of life –  Shringar (Beauty), Hasya (Laughter), Raudra (Anger), Karuna (Compassion), Bibhatsa (Disgust), Bhaya (Fear), Veera (Courage), Adbhut (Amazement), Shanta (Peace) – these are the rasas given by Bhartamuni in Natyashastra (you can see the connection with 9 planets). If we closely observe our life we revolve around few basic emotions only either its Sadness or Happiness, it is quite rare that we experience everything in balanced way – there will be one dominant emotion in us which drives  most of the desires of our life, now that tells the quality of our thoughts – influence of Moon – it picks up the energy from the house it is placed in and the quality of rashi has, which results in our habits and traits. Moon is the most vulnerable planet – vulnerability is generated through emotions only, when we stop protecting our emotional body and give access to anybody, that is the point when we lose the trail of self control. Moon is also the planet which tells your needs, requirements of your soul – it is the planet of nourishment, karka for mother, its placement in the chart tells what kind of nourishment our soul is craving.

Now the question arises why we get certain placement of the Moon, surely it impacts our habits and traits but what is beyond that, why some people sail through the toughest times of their life with ease yet few find difficulties even in the smooth ride. The answers lies in the Karma of the native – the baggage that he’s carrying from the past – our past life karmas are stored in some ledgers of the universe and they manifest in our life – those ledgers are the Nakshatras – in Karma Vipaka Samhita, Lord Shiva describes the Karma of each soul. Placement of Moon in certain houses and rashi tells the traits and our emotional response to the world but the Janma Nakshatra brings the real picture of the causal relationship between our present mental state and past life, the why of emotional graph. Emotions are the sensitive spot of human nature, be it bliss or misery it impacts our core and when one has a loaded karmic account, their progression of life will be impacted – our karam decides the pattern of our life, past life mistakes will be quite evident in our life’s patterns yet the freewill of this life gives us the chance to rectify the pending karma and experience life filled with all colours not just being stuck to the black & white.

Nakshatras are the fixed energy source of the sky, on a material plane showing the Karma being manifested in our life. 27 of them follow a cycle which shows the progression of our soul –  mentioned in “Predict using Nakshatra Padas” by Deepanshu Sir, where the Karam of the soul has been decoded through each Nakshatra pada. Each nakshatra pada carries a history of our soul, reason for Moon being the blueprint of our soul – birth Nakshatra reveals the mistakes, destiny and pending karam of our life. Pending Karma – Cancer Rashi and Pisces Navamsa

The moment we get merged with the energy of our chart – life picks a pace and we start moving ahead in our life with more clarity. Now you can understand why we get a certain dasha sequence which begins from our birth nakshatra and governs the pattern of events and experiences in our life. The dasha sequence is based on the karma we have stored in the ledgers of the universe, which is being manifested in this life. When we start burning our pending karmas, we start getting liberated from the chains of burden which holds us behind. Coming back to the Navarasas of life – the blessing of all rasas depends upon the level of consciousness one has in their life, when we start understanding the pattern and source of our miseries and troubles in our life we eventually end up resolving them. Moon’s placement in the chart is not just limited to the habits and traits, it carries the threads of deeper truths of our life. It carries the blueprint of our past life karmas – what and why of our experiences, Pending Karma is altogether a different topic which requires in depth analysis, it is better to go for consultation – where one can understand the deeper truths of their life.  Trapped by Ancestral Karma, Freed by Astrology – Consult Lunar Astro – You can read the case studies or directly Book for the consultation – Consult Lunar Astro – Experience True Astrology
