Longevity of Spouse – Case Study

Life and Death is something which is fixed and will definitely occur until you are able to achieve liberation. There are several slokas to find out Longevity of someone or family members within the classics but it needs to be decoded and tested to find out the workings and variations of the slok. This article is strictly for Students who want to find out combinations which can indicate Health issues or who want to understand and then do research regarding Longevity – after reading , instead of looking at your own chart please use this information in your readings to assist and help other people via precautions and remedies.

Remember that even the Number of Breadths you take in this life are limited as Nature only has a particular quantity of Oxygen allotted to you – it is upto you how you want to use it. When you go in deep meditation or even do Pranayama the breadths you take slows down eventually which helps with your health and mind.

Now get us get to today’s Agenda, which would be to identify combinations in which there could be health/longevity issues with the partner and we will see this from a Sloka of BPHS.

Maharishi Parashar States :

Notice the order of the Planets carefully – Saturn and Mars are hemming the 7th house while Rahu himself is present in the 7th. Rahu Maharaj being a Chaya Graha will also intensity the effects of the hemming causing issues with the longevity of the partner – The reason why Rahu has to be present is because of qualities of Absorption and Intensification of its result. You can understand the sloka much more deeply once you test it in at least 10 charts.

How let us see a case study of a person who came for consultation a year back and the story of her Marriage –

Rashi Chart :

See the initial Sloka that was mentioned above – In this chart, The 7th house itself of the Chart has aspect of aspect of Mars/Ketu and Moon in Taurus which shows money/family related issues related to health or loss of finances. Venus is Digbali but in Sign of Rahu and aspected by Mars and Saturn which again shows immense amount of mental stress due to family money or financial issues. Here The issue is not with Venus but the other planets who are influencing Venus negatively causing the results to get altered.

When looking at any chart remember that the Strength of the planet will not show the positive or negative results , but the environment in which the planet is placed WILL. Such as in this chart Moon is debilated and influenced by Mars which did give issues of depression but the Father of the native has also supported her in such times and her husband in terms of Money when needed (Although being strict in nature).

Once you see the Navansh there is Jupiter in the Lagna which should technically Negate any possibilities of Lesser longevity but Jupiter in this chart was in Mrityubhag, and already with Rahu. Rahu in 5th is one of the combinations which is mentioned in BPHS to cause Major Blockages in life but in this case the energy was contributing in Loss of Jeev (Jupiter). The Husband of the Native was involved in a lot of debts and was troubled in terms of Managing expenses (Pisces) , due to which the native’s husband unfortunately took his own life.

Determining the exact Longevity of anyone is out of the scope of this article but atleast looking at the combination and seeing all the major and minor details will give you a clue as to what are major issues with the Married life or the health of partner in upcoming years.
One observation which I saw in charts was that If three Kendras of the Navansh are empty while the Navansh Lagna lord also does not have support of other planets then also there are major health issues or even two marriages for the Partner if other combinations align.

In this case Jupiter is afflicted in Rashi Chart within Rahu/Ketu Axis – Jupiter in Navansh but does not have any positive influence from other planets.

If you look via the Eyes of Jaimini Sutram as well then you will notice that the Ak and Dk are not aligned together, Swamsa Lagna does not have enough Strength being in MB and Jupiter being AmK shows professional and financial issues (There was no stable profession of Husband), and even influence of Ketu from Karakansh Lagna with Dk Debilated.

The Dasha at that time was of Me/Sa (8th and 3rd Dasha) in 7th Navansh – If there were Saving grace such as Jupiter not being in MB there this issue would not have occurred and the native would have gotten into health issues or even depression.

No Matter how you see it even if you would not have predicted such a severe prediction, atleast you would have gotten close to what the event or likelihood is in terms of the Marriage of the native. In Terms of Remedies in this case it would be firstly to do Pran Pratistha of Jupiter.
